Ming Morssinkhof’s practice builds upon the material qualities of noise, mist, and visual grain, creating layered compositions that shift between visibility and disappearance. Inspired by the richness of sonic and visual particles, Morssinkhof collects memories, knowledges and visions which she digests, remixes, and reshuffles. Layers of mist and noise become metaphors for camouflage, rebellion, and sedimentation, reflecting on the often contradictory nature of perception and memory. Through this process, Morssinkhof explores how personal and shared narratives take shape. Her work questions how we process and reconstruct everyday experiences, offering space where new meaning can surface from the fragments we leave behind.
